Improved Page Management

Sixent now allows you to better manage your group pages.

New features include:

  • Copying a page within a group
  • Resetting all pages in a group in a single step
  • Resetting a single page or all pages to its template pages
(this is only available for groups created from a template)

These features can save a lot of time and increase the consistency of your group's page presentation. Copying a page, for example, means you no longer need to re-customize a new page's layout, pods and banner graphic if you've done the work already.

Note that copying and resetting a page does not affect the page's contents or permission settings.

Copying a Page

To begin, you can optionally browse to the page you want to copy. Next, select "Copy Page..." from the page's "Edit" menu. This menu is found in the top-right corner of the page.

The "Add Page" form will appear. The page to copy will be preset in the new "Page to Copy" field shown below.

Note that when you create a new page, this option will always be available to you, even if you did not visit the page you wanted to copy first.

You may have noticed that another new option has been added to this form, "Parent Page". It allows you to place the new page anywhere in your group with ease.

Once you're done naming your new page, press "Save" and like magic, all your hard work gets re-applied to the new page. It's now ready to be further customized and perhaps later re-copied.
