People search is a major part of any social network. On Sixent, you can increase your findability by adding profile tags - or keywords - to your profiles. You can use these tags to describe your skills, interests, hobbies and more.

When someone searches on a keyword using the People Find function (located on the Sixent menu bar), any Sixent member who has tagged their profile with that keyword will display in the subsequent search results page.

This can be a great way to broaden your connections on Sixent by providing a quick way to find people who share similar interests to yours.

The how-to:

You can add as many tags as you like to your profiles and the process is simple.

1) First, select "Profiles" in the toolbar and click "Edit Profiles". When the Edit Profiles page loads, scroll down to the Profile Tags section and click the "Add Tag" link.

2) Type a keyword in the field provided and click "Save". Add as many other tags as you like.

3) Easily copy your tags to other profiles using the drag and drop function:

 Once you've added your tags, they'll appear on your profile in the Profile Tags pod:

And that's it. And when you're viewing someone's profile, you can just click their profile tags to find other Sixent members who have tagged their profiles the same way.

By adding just a few tags to your profile, you can make it easy for people to find you based on shared interests!
