This past weekend, I was at a wedding and took a few pictures which I uploaded to my Personal Sixent.com Profile. One of these pictures was of Keane Dame, the son of Ramius' COO, Phil Dame. Here is a screen capture of the relevant page:

Phil, being the proud father that he is, checked out the pic and of course wanted to Zoom In and view a larger version of it. Unfortunately, when selecting the Zoom In function he saw this:

The picture stayed the same size! While trying out new photo management software, It happened that I resized my original image, creating a smaller version with a long edge of 640 pixels. This smaller version is what I uploaded. Since most modern displays are set to allow for a wider maximum width, Phil was unable to see a larger version of Keane because this resized version of the picture was already at it's maximum size.
Sixent Tip: Let Sixent Resize Your Pictures
You may be hesitant to upload a large image - for example, below is the Exif data of the picture I took of Keane - worrying about how it will be displayed on a normal computer monitor.

When uploading to a Sixent Photos gallery (in a user's Profiles and in Groups; for both Sixent.com and Sixent Enterprise), Sixent will resize the image, allowing for a maximum long edge dimension of 1,600 pixels. Or, if you want to resize the image yourself, a Sixent best practice is to not go smaller than 1,600 pixels.
I have now updated my original image, replacing it with one that I resized myself (still trying to learn how to use my new photo management software):

And Keane's picture page now looks like:

With the Zoom In view looking like:

Proud Dad can now see his photogenic son in a nice and large monitor!

VERY proud Dad! Can he actually take a bad picture?

Love that guy!
